Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026

DOMERA LLC, a Michigan limited liability company (“Domera,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides video clipping and publishing services. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information through domera.app, our client dashboard, our waitlist, and related clipping, publishing, and support services (the “Service”).

We offer the Service to customers located in the United States who are at least 18 years old. Videos and other material processed through the Service may contain information about other people. This policy covers that information when we process it. Our Terms of Service explain the permissions customers must have to submit content and connect accounts.

1. Information you provide

Account and profile information. We collect your email address, display name, profile picture, time zone, appearance preferences, and account security settings. If you create a password account, our authentication provider processes your password and stores authentication credentials. If you use Google sign-in, we receive the information Google supplies for sign-in, such as your name, email address, profile picture, and account identifier. Google sign-in does not by itself connect a YouTube publishing account.

Setup and content preferences. We collect the content types and genres you select; source channels and posting platforms; channel names, handles, and links; descriptions of your content and audience; topics to avoid; editing requests; plan selections; and records of confirmations and permissions. We also keep changes you request and the team’s handling of those requests.

Videos and related files. We collect links and video files you submit, file names and sizes, titles, duration, upload and recording dates, and confirmations that you have the necessary rights. We may also receive logos, branding assets, and reference screenshots used to prepare your editing layouts. We collect videos detected on the source channels you save, subject to your intake setting (Settings > Posting). Your material may include images, voices, names, conversations, or other personal information about you and people appearing or mentioned in it.

Billing information. We collect billing contact information, customer and subscription identifiers, plan and hours information, extra-hours settings, invoices, payment status, and records of refunds and billing disputes. Stripe processes payment details. Domera does not receive full payment card numbers or card security codes through our payment forms. We can receive limited payment summaries, such as payment method type, card brand, last four digits, and expiration date.

Support and feedback. We collect messages, attachments, related video and clip details, takedown requests, cancellation feedback, and support history, including internal notes used to handle your request. If you ask us to copy other people on a response, we collect their email addresses and may share the correspondence with them. We also store your dashboard help-assistant conversations, response ratings, and related support escalations.

Waitlist information. If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and any channel link or expected video hours you provide.

2. Information generated or received through the Service

Source channel information. We check saved channels on supported services, currently Twitch, YouTube, Kick, and Rumble, for recordings and uploads. We receive public channel and video information, such as identifiers, handles, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, duration, dates, chapters, and available playlist information. We also keep detection status, approval, decline and expiry decisions, and processing records.

Posting and intake settings. We record changes to your posting and intake settings, with timestamps, for billing, refund eligibility, and dispute resolution.

Transcripts and clip analysis. We generate transcripts and word timings, analyze audio activity, classify content, and generate suggested moments, titles, captions, and assessments used to select and review clips. We keep selected transcript passages, editing decisions, review notes, and technical records needed to produce and troubleshoot clips.

Automatic framing. Our video tools may detect where faces appear in sampled video frames and reference screenshots to position or crop the picture. We may retain reference images, detected face positions and sizes, crop coordinates, confidence information, and sampled frames with detection markings for editing and troubleshooting. Our face detector also estimates five reference points (eyes, nose, and mouth corners) as part of its standard output; our code discards them immediately without storing or using them. We record only the location and size of a detected face. We do not create measurements of facial geometry or face embeddings. We do not use this feature to identify a person, match a face against an identity database, or create a faceprint for identity verification.

Twitch chat activity. For Twitch recordings, we may temporarily retrieve a public chat replay containing viewers’ usernames, messages, and message times. We use message times to calculate activity spikes that help locate moments in a broadcast. This feature does not use chat messages to build profiles of individual viewers. The ordinary processing workflow discards the downloaded replay after extracting the timing information.

Clips and publishing records. We create and store review copies, finished clips, thumbnails, captions, schedules, publishing identifiers, post links, status and error records, and available performance statistics. Performance information may include counts of views, likes, comments, or shares. A comment count is different from collecting the text of viewers’ comments.

Connected posting accounts. When you connect a supported TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook account, our publishing provider, PostPeer, facilitates authorization through the platform. The platform and publishing provider process the authorization credentials needed for that connection. Domera receives connection identifiers, account names and handles, profile images and links, connection status, and available publishing and performance information. We do not receive your social-account password.

Usage, browser, and technical information. We record setup steps viewed or completed, timestamps, security and rate-limit events, and other operational activity. Before sign-in, setup events may be associated with a random identifier stored in your browser. Hosting, authentication, delivery, and security providers also process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, request details, and approximate location inferred from an IP address.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • create and secure accounts, authenticate users, and remember settings;
  • monitor the source channels you select, process authorized videos, make and review clips, and schedule and publish them to connected accounts;
  • display clips, processing and posting status, schedules, and available analytics;
  • measure source hours, administer plans and extra hours, collect payments, and handle cancellations, refunds, and disputes;
  • respond to support and privacy requests, act on feedback and takedown requests, and send service communications;
  • troubleshoot problems, evaluate clipping quality, and improve how the Service works for customers;
  • prevent unauthorized access, fraud, and abuse, including misuse of the First-Month Guarantee; and
  • meet legal obligations, maintain required records, and protect legal rights.

We may use aggregated or deidentified information for service analysis and improvement. Where we treat information as deidentified under applicable privacy law, we maintain it in that form and do not attempt to reidentify it, except as permitted by law to test the deidentification process.

4. AI processing and human access

We use Deepgram to transcribe audio and Anthropic’s API to help classify content and select clips. This can involve sending audio to the transcription provider and transcript passages, video metadata, and your content brief to the AI provider. Captions are rendered on Domera’s own processing systems, which run on servers hosted by Contabo and on computers operated by Domera.

People working for Domera review and edit clips before publication. They may access source material, transcripts, sampled frames, clips, content preferences, and related account information as needed to perform their work. Human review reduces errors but does not eliminate them.

The dashboard help assistant sends your messages and recent conversation history to Anthropic with selected account context. That context can include your first name, plan status and price, hours used, extra-hours settings, connection status, and recent video titles and processing status. The assistant cannot itself change your subscription, issue a refund, or submit a support request. A support request is created when you submit the support form.

Domera does not itself train general-purpose AI models using customer content. AI and transcription providers may retain or use information under the terms and settings applicable to their services. Their handling of information is not a promise of zero retention. Contact us before submitting material that requires special confidentiality or processing restrictions. Do not include passwords, payment credentials, or other unnecessary sensitive information in videos, support attachments, or assistant messages.

5. How we disclose information

Providers and personnel. We disclose information needed to operate the Service to people working for Domera and to providers of hosting and computing, authentication, databases and storage, security, analytics, payments, transcription, AI processing, publishing, email, and support tools. These include Supabase, Cloudflare, Contabo, Stripe, PostPeer, Deepgram, Anthropic, Resend, Fastmail, and Discord. Providers process information under the agreements applicable to their services. Some providers also process information for their own security, legal, or account-administration purposes under their privacy notices.

Operational alerts. Internal notifications, including notifications through Discord, may contain account email addresses, plan information, setup details you provide when purchasing, video or clip titles, support and feedback messages, addresses you ask us to copy on a support response, takedown reasons, error details, and a link to the related record in our internal admin panel. They do not include cancellation reasons or excerpts from help-assistant conversations. Support attachments are stored separately; a notification may identify that attachments exist.

Publishing and public availability. We send clips, captions, titles, and publishing instructions to our publishing provider and the platforms you authorize. Posts can become public and can be copied or redistributed by others. Publishing providers may host copies of media at shareable links before a scheduled post goes live.

People you designate. We may disclose correspondence and related information to representatives you authorize or email recipients you ask us to include.

Legal and safety purposes. We may disclose information when required by law or valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud or abuse, enforce our agreements, or protect people’s rights, safety, or property.

Business transactions. Information may be disclosed in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of business assets, subject to appropriate protections and applicable restrictions. Information transferred to a successor remains subject to this policy unless lawfully changed. Additional consent will be obtained where required, including by applicable Google user-data rules.

Other disclosures you authorize. We may disclose information for another purpose that we explain when requesting your permission.

We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising. We do not authorize others to use customer information received from us for those purposes.

6. Browser storage and third-party resources

We use browser storage and similar technologies for sign-in sessions, setup progress, upload recovery, preferences, and dashboard functionality. You can clear or restrict browser storage, but doing so may sign you out or prevent features from working.

Cloudflare provides website delivery and bot protection, including Turnstile. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits and website performance. Cloudflare describes that analytics product as operating without cookies or browser storage for tracking visitors. Our separate account and setup features do use browser storage.

Our website serves its own fonts. Some images in the dashboard load directly from the services that host them, such as a Google profile picture, the profile images of connected posting accounts, and video thumbnails from source platforms, and payment forms load from Stripe. Those requests disclose technical information, such as your IP address and browser request details, to those providers. Third-party sign-in, payment, and social-platform pages also operate under their own privacy policies.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels for targeted advertising. We do not otherwise change our practices in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal. Global Privacy Control signals communicate choices about sale, sharing, or targeted advertising; we do not engage in those activities whether or not a signal is present.

7. Connected platforms and YouTube data

Domera’s own Google integration is limited to Google sign-in, which provides the basic profile information described in section 1. Domera does not request access to your YouTube account. We use YouTube API Services to read public information about the YouTube channels and videos you save as sources, as described in section 2. Publishing to YouTube is handled by our publishing provider, PostPeer, which requests YouTube permission through its own connection flow when you connect a YouTube account. By using the YouTube features, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

You can disconnect posting accounts in the dashboard’s Accounts area and revoke access in the platform’s settings. For Google, visit Google third-party connections. The relevant connection may be identified as Domera or PostPeer. Disconnecting Google sign-in and disconnecting a YouTube publishing connection are separate actions.

Disconnecting withdraws permission for future posting through that connection. It does not delete posts already on the platform, cancel your Domera subscription, or by itself close your Domera account. Posts already in transmission may require action on the platform. Contact us if you need a scheduled or published post stopped or removed.

You can request deletion of stored YouTube data by emailing support@domera.app. We delete that data as soon as possible and within seven calendar days of a valid deletion request. We also apply the deletion and authorization-refresh requirements associated with revocation. Deleting data held by Domera does not delete data or videos held by YouTube. Domera’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs, including Google sign-in, adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy.

8. How long we retain information

Uploaded source files. Source uploads become eligible for scheduled deletion 30 days after the video is added to your account. We retain the file longer while it is waiting to be processed or is needed for editing, rendering, or a retry. Once it is eligible and no longer needed for those steps, scheduled cleanup removes it. Files uploaded but never added as a video are ordinarily removed through cleanup after 30 days. Contact us if you want a file deleted sooner.

Working copies and diagnostic material. The ordinary workflow removes temporary downloads and local render files when they are no longer needed. Failed or interrupted jobs, diagnostic records, sampled frames, and service logs may remain longer for troubleshooting and security. We retain these only as needed for those purposes and applicable legal requirements.

Account records, clips, and support history. We retain account records, clips, related transcripts, editing assets and reference images, and support history while needed to provide your account, maintain your dashboard and available clip history, handle requests, and fulfill the purposes in this policy. Cancellation stops subscription renewal; it does not by itself delete the account or its information. You can request account closure or deletion at support@domera.app. We delete or deidentify information that is no longer needed, subject to legal exceptions and any shorter platform-specific requirements.

Billing, disputes, and abuse prevention. We may retain records needed for tax and accounting obligations, payment disputes, legal claims, security, and enforcement of the First-Month Guarantee. To apply the guarantee once per creator, we keep after an account is deleted a record that it had a paid subscription, the channel handles and posting accounts it saved, and one-way hashes of its email address, Google account identifier and payment card fingerprint. Retention depends on the relevant legal obligation, claim period, and continuing need for the record. A need to retain a limited billing or dispute record does not require keeping all of your videos or support attachments.

Providers, backups, and public posts. Provider records and backup copies follow the retention and deletion processes applicable to those systems. Deletion from an active system may not immediately remove a backup copy; retained copies remain subject to appropriate restrictions and applicable deletion requirements. Deleting information from Domera does not automatically remove public posts or copies held independently by social platforms or other people. Section 7 explains additional rules for YouTube data.

9. Security

We use safeguards intended to protect personal information, including encrypted network connections, account access controls, and optional authenticator-based two-step sign-in. We restrict access to people who need it for their work. No system can guarantee complete security. Use a unique password, enable two-step sign-in when available, and notify support@domera.app promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

10. Your choices and privacy requests

You can review available account, profile, notification, content, and billing settings in the dashboard. Some changes, including an account-email change, require a request to our team. Content-preference changes may require review before taking effect. Essential billing, security, and service notices may still be sent when optional notifications are disabled. If we send promotional emails, you can use their unsubscribe instructions or contact us to stop them.

You may ask to access, correct, obtain a copy of, or delete your personal information, or close your account, by emailing support@domera.app. Tell us what you are requesting and the email associated with the account. We may verify your identity and authority before acting. We do not require you to send a password or full payment card number. An authorized agent may submit a request where applicable law allows, subject to verification of the agent’s authority and your identity.

Depending on your state and the law’s applicability, you may have rights to know about and access personal information, correct inaccuracies, obtain a portable copy, delete information, opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling, limit particular uses of sensitive information, or appeal a denial. We do not use personal information for profiling to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

We respond within the time required by applicable law. If an extension is permitted and needed, we will explain it. If we deny a request, we will explain the reason to the extent required by law. To appeal, email support@domera.app with the subject “Privacy appeal.” We will review the appeal and provide any further complaint information required by applicable law. The specific YouTube deletion period in section 7 applies to those requests.

If you appear in a customer’s content, you can contact us directly about your information. We may need to coordinate with the customer who supplied the content, and we will handle the request according to our role and applicable law. Customers remain responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for their content.

11. Additional information for California residents

The categories of personal information described in this policy include identifiers and contact details; account and customer records; commercial and payment information; internet or electronic activity; approximate location derived from technical information; audio, visual, and electronic content; and information generated to classify and edit content. Content and support messages may contain additional information that you choose to submit.

Account login credentials and some information in submitted content may qualify as sensitive personal information. We use such information as needed to provide the requested Service, protect accounts, handle support, and meet legal obligations. We do not use it to infer sensitive characteristics about you for advertising or unrelated profiling.

Sections 1 and 2 describe the sources of these categories; section 3 explains the purposes; section 5 describes recipients and business disclosures; and section 8 explains retention periods or the criteria used to determine them. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, including information about people under 16. Where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to Domera and your information, you can exercise its rights using section 10. California residents may also contact us about disclosures for third parties’ direct marketing purposes; we do not disclose personal information for those purposes.

12. Age and information about minors

The Service is intended for adult customers and is not directed to children under 13. People under 18 may not create a Domera account or subscribe. Content supplied by adult customers may nevertheless include minors or information about them. Customers must have any permissions required to submit and publish that material. If you believe a minor has opened an account or that we are processing a child’s information unlawfully, contact support@domera.app so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.

13. Processing locations

Domera is based in the United States. Our systems, personnel, and providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Offering accounts only to U.S. customers does not mean all information remains physically in the United States. We handle information subject to applicable legal requirements and the restrictions in this policy.

14. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the Service or our practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. For a material change, we will provide an appropriate notice, such as an email or prominent dashboard notice, before the change takes effect. We will obtain additional consent where required by law or platform rules.
